THIRTEEN DAYS TRAVELING

Here I am again making myself present after 13 days traveling to South America, I must say that this trip has been better than I expected so far, in this paragraph I will summarize everything I have experienced in these days traveling with only 60 Canadian dollars.

To begin, I want to say that I have traveled approximately 280 km since I left the city of Montreal to the place where I am at this moment, a place near the town of Kingston, what I will tell you now is about what I have experienced in my 13 days that I have been traveling and if you read the previous post you will have realized where I spent the first night, therefore, continuing with the trip, the next day I headed towards Ottawa, after pedaling several km I found a park where rest for a few minutes and then continue the trip, after that short rest, when I was leaving there was a lady in her vehicle with whom we started to talk, she gave me 20 dollars and also offered me her house, but the only problem was that I had to wait until 6:00 pm and at that time it was 1:00 pm, I agreed to wait 5 hours of my time so I could spend the night in a better place, but it turns out that it never arrived, so I had to look for a place quickly because the sun was setting, I was lucky to find 2 kind ladies who showed me a place where I could spend the night, and the best of all was that after a few minutes they arrived with food and drinks for me without asking anything in return, the next day following my destination I met a gentleman, we talked for a while, we shared, he gave me 10 dollars and then I continued the trip, I arrived at a town called Oka and again luck was on my side, I stopped on a slope to drink water and walk up, but before doing that maneuver a woman approached me who offered me a drink and her garden to spend the night, I of course agreed, she gave me food, lent me a shower and kindly He offered to drop me off at the city of Ottawa in his vehicle, and since on this trip you have to be grateful, of course I accepted, it saved me quite a few kilometers and also saved me from the rain that there was at that time, once I was in Ottawa. With a climate completely opposite to that in Oka, I headed towards Toronto pedaling through completely isolated places living my adventure happily. That day I traveled many kilometers looking for a place to spend the night, but I was totally isolated. After continuing pedaling I arrived at a small town where I asked some people who were outside their house for somewhere to put my tent, after talking for a few minutes they told me that I could spend the night at their house, they welcomed me very kindly like in all the places I have been. So far, the next day the son of the owner of the house offered to bring me a few km closer with his vehicle. I was grateful for the gesture and again, with great enthusiasm, I continued pedaling to get closer to my destination, after approximately 20 km of pure beauty. , some beautiful landscapes, some enviable houses and a peaceful environment, I arrived at a place called Thousand Islands and I met an elderly couple, I stopped, we talked, they gave me water and after a few minutes they told me that I could place my tent in their patio, but the best of all is that I ended up sleeping in their trailer, after staying three days in that beautiful place with a welcoming family with the intention of helping me, where they gave me food, drink, a place to sleep and they even gave me 30 dollars, those 3 days were very pleasant and necessary to continue my journey through America, I of course always grateful for each family or person that I meet on my way, I continued my course towards Toronto, but I knew that I couldn't get there that day due to the remaining kilometers, and the furthest I could go was to the town of Kingston, so after cycling 40 km, fate put me again with another person whom I have been sharing for 4 days, I was 3 days in a campsite with good people, laughing and learning the language, makes you want to stay here, but the journey must continue to go in search of new adventures, meet new people and learn new cultures.

In summary I can say that I have been traveling for 13 days totally free and with money in my favor, this is the beautiful thing about traveling, finding new people, new places, new things to learn, you realize that there are more good people than bad people in the world. world and that there will always be someone willing to lend a hand.
