Following our route, we headed towards Ouro Preto , a beautiful colonial-style city with many climbs, I remember that we arrived at the place and we were loaded until we couldn't take it anymore, we had to climb and walk quite a bit to reach a meeting point known by the people. , there was some partying, stalls selling crafts, beers and among other things.
After spending a few hours in that place, we had to find some area where we could pitch the tent to spend the first night in Ouro Preto, checking the map we found a place where we could perhaps place our tents, it was almost at the top of the city, we arrived at a supposed place that gave entrance to some cachoeiras, but it was about 30 or 40 minutes walking, that day we decided to look for a place close to where we had arrived on the bus, a sector in the middle of the forest again, which we decided to set up the tents and spend the night there, I remember that I did not have a sleeping bag since I had abandoned it in Canada, so supposedly I would not need it in Brazil due to its extreme heat, but without a doubt in that place a blanket or something with which was necessary. cover up, I spent the first night a little cold since the area where we were had some fog falling. We had a business nearby where we used to ask for water, and luckily for me we were a few meters from the main street where my friend Yerko was there for some reason, and it just so happened that a gentleman passed by selling blankets where without a doubt I bought her one to take with me during the trip, it was a wonderful thing back then.

After being installed in that place we chose to leave the tents assembled along with the things inside, to go down to the place where the cachoeiras were, we only carried the essential and most important things with us in a backpack, after walking several minutes, I would dare To say that almost an hour, we arrived at a beautiful place where we could only thank life for those places that it was showing us, then we returned to our tents and as usual we got to cook something to feed our stomachs that were undoubtedly already roaring , then it was just time to rest.
I also remember that one day among the several that we were there, someone threw a rock at our tents while we were inside, it was something crazy but we let it go since we didn't know what exactly it was. Ouro Preto, a place that without a doubt you should know for its beauty.
